🔔 New Feature: Shift Updates Notifications

We’re introducing a new feature that will automatically notify users when a change has been made to their shift. The notification will direct them to their My Schedule page to review the updated details.

This feature eliminates the need for managers to manually inform employees of shift changes, saving time and streamlining communication. Please note that this functionality only applies to published rosters.

We’re excited to announce that you can now import your forecast directly into Alkimii! This new functionality makes it easier to make bulk changes or import forecasts for the week, month, or any chosen time period.

How it Works:

1. Export the Forecast to get the templates.
2. Update the necessary fields with your forecast data.
3. Import the updated file back into Alkimii.

This streamlined process saves you time and effort, allowing for efficient bulk updates and quick adjustments to your forecast data.

With Today’s Roster on mobile, you can:

- Quick Shift Summary: Instantly view shift times, clock in/out times, and breaks—all at a glance.
- Quick Shift Additions: Add shifts directly from your phone whenever needed.
- Departmental Sign-Off: Review and sign off the previous day for your department, anytime, anywhere.
- Overall Daily Sign-Off: Finalise your daily sign-off with just a few taps.
- Shift Adjustments: Easily edit shifts or clock times to reflect the hours you wish to pay.

Today’s Roster on mobile mirrors the same actions available on desktop, giving you flexibility and control—no matter where you are.

Whether you work with fixed or variable standards—based on revenue, accommodation levels, extras, or other metrics—Productivity gives you full visibility and control when building your roster.

Here's what you can do:

- Access a full breakdown of all standards you’ve set up across your organisation. Use quick filters and the search bar to find exactly what you need—filter by site, department, job title, basis, serving period, category, date range, and more.

📊 Productivity Dashboard

- Get a clear overview of all productivity standards by job title within your site(s). Quickly see which standards are live, in testing, upcoming, expired, or deleted—all in one place.

Best of all, you can view and compare these standards in real-time while creating your roster, helping you align staffing decisions with operational goals.

⏰ Clocked and Paid Hours Now Available

We’re excited to announce that Clocked and Paid Hours can now be viewed by employees in their Alkimii app!

When enabled, employees will be able to see their clock-in and clock-out times, as well as their paid hours.

This information is pulled directly from the week details and updates accordingly, providing employees with real-time visibility into their hours worked and paid.

Holiday Balance Breakdown

You can now view a clear breakdown of your holiday balance, including your holiday cap, followed by what’s been earned, taken, and what’s upcoming.

Easily filter by quarter along the top to get a quick view of your balance within a selected time frame. Future quarters will appear greyed out to keep the focus on current and past data.

A simple, transparent way to keep track of your time off—at a glance!

📆 Leave Calendar Visibility

You can now quickly see who is on leave and review approvals at a glance with the updated mobile Leave Calendar!

The new calendar view helps you make informed decisions before requesting time off or approving leave—with clear colour indicators to guide you:

- Red Dot: Multiple team members are off on this date—there may be limited cover.
- Yellow Dot: One other team member already has leave on this date.
- Green Dot: Your leave has been approved for this day.

📅 We’ve Listened: Week Roster Updates

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve made major improvements to the Week Roster, bringing more speed, control, and visibility to your rostering process. Here’s what’s new:

- Speed improvements
- Ability to load all departments at once
- New view for Absent, Holiday, Requested Day Off, and Bank Holiday shifts
- Updated print view and improved Excel export
- New preference options: view all balances as days, and durations as decimals instead of hours
- Coloured cross-roster icon to show which department a user is rostered in
- Budget data now included in Analytics
- Copy shifts to others with a searchable user name field
- Deactivated team member now have new colour coding and appear at the bottom of the roster
- Breaks legislation now included in both Excel export and print view
- Duplicating rosters no longer overrides future Holiday, Bank Holiday, Requested Day Off or Absent shifts
- New shift error revert option to return a shift to its original state before it was adjusted

You’ll be able to choose from three smart options:

- Best Pay % for cost-efficient schedules
- Most Efficient for optimal productivity and coverage
- Same as Last Year to replicate previously successful rosters

Once generated, you can review, fine-tune, and publish the roster to your team.

It’s faster, smarter, and more flexible rostering—designed to save you time and maximise results.
