💡 Tip 1: Give Managers More Control with Cross-Rostering

Managing teams across multiple sites just got a little easier. Senior managers can now set their team members up for cross-rostering between sites directly from the Staff Profile, giving them more control over where their teams can be rostered.

To set this up, head to the employee's Staff Profile → Rostering tab and enable the relevant cross-rostering options. Once enabled, the employee can be selected when creating a cross-rostered shift in the Roster.

🔑 Pro tip: Set up your team's cross-rostering permissions in advance so HOD's can quickly move the right people where they're needed when demand changes.

💡 Tip 2: Backdate Pay Rates with More Flexibility

Need to update a pay rate from an earlier date? You now have more flexibility in how you manage backdated pay rates, depending on what you need to do.

Updating an individual employee? You can now backdate their pay rate directly from their Staff Profile, keeping their payment information and rate history together in one place.

Head to Staff Profile → Payment, update the employee's rate and select the date you want the new rate to apply from.

Updating multiple employees? You can still use the Pay Rates screen to make backdated changes across multiple employees at the same time. Update each employee's rate and effective date, then review your changes together before selecting Save All.

🔑 Pro tip: Whether you're updating one employee or a whole team, always double-check the effective date before saving to make sure the change is applied from the correct date.
