Alkimii Property FAQ
This article answers common questions about the Alkimii Property tools - Checklists, Shift Notes, Maintenance, Incidents, Visitors, Lost & Found, Concierge, Asset Manager and Suppliers
Why can I only see some of these tools, not all of them?
The tools available to you depend on your Alkimii package and your access level. You may not see every tool listed here.
What to do: If you think you should have access to a tool that isn't showing, speak with your organisation's Alkimii administrator.
Where does the data on these tools come from? Do I need to set anything up first?
Yes – most Property tools need some initial setup before they're ready to use. The good news is that a lot of this groundwork is completed by our implementation team ahead of your training day.
This can include:
- Checklists added into the system
- Proactive Maintenance checks configured
- Rooms and locations set up, which are used across all Property tools
- Shift Note templates created
👉 Please note: Shift Note templates are sometimes set up by your senior team instead, depending on how your organisation is configured.
If you're not sure what's already been set up for your property, check with your implementation contact or senior team.
Does what I do in one Property tool affect the others?
In most cases, no – but there are two connections worth knowing about:
- Visitors and Evacuation List: Anyone checked in through Visitors will automatically pull through to the Evacuation List.
- Proactive Maintenance and Maintenance: If a maintenance issue is logged as part of a Proactive Maintenance review, it will sync through and create a Maintenance task.
