A Comprehensive Guide to Efficiently Managing Deliveries and Packages in Alkimii

The concierge feature in Alkimii is designed to streamline the management of items and packages received by your concierge team. This powerful tool allows you to log, track, and manage deliveries efficiently, ensuring that all guest requests and incoming items are handled promptly and accurately. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to effectively use the concierge feature, helping you enhance your guest services and maintain seamless operations.

  • From the menu, use the search bar to locate "Concierge" 
  • Your default view will be a list of all packages in your site 
  • You can use the filter options to quickly locate the package based on the Site; Locations; Status; and Arrival Date or use the search bar to enter keywords. 
  • You have a number of actions available under the actions column to the right of the list view. Here you can edit (pencil icon); view the history log (clock icon) or delete (bin icon)

Add a Package

  • In the top right, click "Add Package" 
  • In the creation window, you can customise your entry. First up is the status of the package. You can choose from awaiting arrival, with the concierge or delivered to the guest. As the package moves through these stages you will be able to adjust the status accordingly.
  • Enter the name of the guest who will receive the package. We advised using their full name for ease of searching 
  • The "Guest Site" will automatically populate based on the site you are in. 
  • The location can be selected from the dropdown menu. This is a mandatory field so you will not be able to create the entry until this has been selected. 
  • The "Arrival date" will automatically populate to today's date, you can amend this by selecting the date using the calendar function. 
  • Provide further information about the package, by selecting the type of package using the icons. This is a mandatory field so you will not be able to create the entry until this has been selected.
  • You can enter more information in the free type text boxes 
  • To upload attachments relating to the package simply drag and drop it from your system 
  • Click "Save" to create your entry.

Update the Status of a Package 

  • Locate the package you wish to update using the filter options or search bar function.
  • Under the actions column to the right of the package, click on the pencil icon. 
  • Choose the new status from the icons at the top of the builder - with concierge, delivered to the guest. 
  • Add any attachments, if applicable
  • Click "Save" to update the entry
