We’re excited to introduce Working Patterns, a new feature available in the staff profile under the contract section. This tool allows you to set up specific working patterns for team members—whether for an ongoing period or a set timeframe—with the option to specify hours per day.
How It Works:
- Set a Working Pattern in the staff profile, either as a permanent arrangement or for a defined period.
- Alkimii will suggest hours per day based on contracted hours, but you can adjust as needed.
- The Roster will now flag any shifts that exceed the hours or days outlined in the working pattern.
- Holiday Balances will automatically factor in working patterns, converting leave days into hours and days in line with the pattern.
- Leave Requests will reflect the hours from the working pattern, ensuring accurate scheduling without manual calculations.
- A Working Patterns Report is now available in Roster Reports to give you a full breakdown of all patterns set up within your team.

Ideal for part-time employees, college staff, full timers who only work 4 days or team members with specific working hours—Working Patterns helps you build accurate rosters, manage leave, and stay compliant with ease.

📢 Gender Pay Gap Reporting – New Rules

Organisations in Ireland with over 50 employees are now required to report on their Gender Pay Gap for the first time in 2025.
To make this easier for you, we’ve updated Alkimii so you can quickly access and download your Gender Pay Gap data.
Simply go to your menu, search for People Reports, click on the People tab and scroll down to Gender Pay Gap, select your date range, and download your report.
Stay ahead of these new reporting requirements and ensure your business remains compliant.

Adding maintenance tasks is now easier than ever. Simply:
- Tap on the screen
- Take a photo
- Select your location
Our AI will read the image and suggest a task title and description automatically.
Prefer to speak instead? Use the new AI voice feature, which listens to your instructions and sets up the task details for you.
Top tip: Ensure to include the location of the issue in your audio message.
