How to Pause Holidays and Public Holiday Accruals?

Holiday and Public Holiday accruals can be paused and reactivated. This feature is available to HR Managers and Accountants only. 

 

  • Using the mega menu, navigate to the "Staff Profiles"

  • Navigate to Holiday Balances on the left. 
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to view "Holiday Config" and "Public Holiday Config" 

  • Ensure both boxes are ticked if you would like holidays to accrue.
  • This activates on the day you make the change
  • To view the history of holiday accruals, click on Contract Changes in the Alkimii Person Icon in the left navigation bar

  • Each line will show the changes made

  • The change can be backdated by clicking the pencil icon to the far right
  • Set the date the change is due to take effect - this can only be set for an unpaid week

  • Click Save to confirm the change
