How to set a customised break rule?

This article will cover how to set a customised break rule. HRM, Deputy GM, GM and Accountant access only

  • Navigate to "Staff Profiles" using the mega menu

  • Select the employee you wish to customise the break rule for

  • Click into employment details

  • Scroll down to Break Rules

Custom break rules override the default rules on an employee's profile

  • Enter the number of minutes to be deducted after the number of hours worked
  • To add additional break rules, click Add +Break Rules 2

To enter No Deductions enter 0 (zero) minutes after the number of hours worked

  • The save button is in the bottom right-hand corner
  • Deducted breaks are shown in the bracket on the Weeks Details Screen
