How to enter the Actuals in Revenue?

Empowering Night Teams to Accurately Input Site-wide Income Data for Informed Financial Management

The accuracy of financial data is important for informed decision-making. This task is typically carried out by a member of the night team after the day concludes.
  • Using the mega menu, navigate to "Actual" 
  • Using the calendar function, select the week you wish to add the actual figures to

Alkimii will always default to the current week. You will likely be entering the actual figures for the previous day's generated revenue. 

  • You will see the revenue dashboard view with all departments listed
  • Enter the figures into the blank fields with the blue lines

The fields in grey calculate automatically based on data entered into the blank line items.

Different departments may have different data requirements including:

- Number of Covers

- Numbers of Rooms Sold

- Sales Channel Revenue Only

- Credit Card Tips ( These values will pull into the week details screen under Total Tips for Property when you are adding the monetary tips payment for your employees - please ensure this step is completed) 

  • Once you are happy with the actual revenue entries for each department, please click "Save department"

Please note that this is a working document which means multiple users can be updating their departments at the same time. We would advise saving your data regularly as you go. 

  • A name, time and date stamp will appear when you click save department along the bottom.
