How to complete a Checklist on mobile?
This article will help you to complete a checklist manually on a mobile device. It is also possible to complete a checklist using NFC tags if they have been assigned to a task.
1. Access Checklists on Mobile
Launch the Alkimii App
- If you have already set up your favourite tools, you can select "Checklists" from your favourites. For help adding or editing your favourite tools, click here!
- Alternatively, navigate to "More" on the bottom right of the navigation bar. From your Alkimii tools, click "Checklists"
2. Locate the Checklist
Your default view will display a list of all checklists associated with your site. You have the option to filter your checklists to quickly locate the one you wish to action.- You can filter by category, frequency of the checklist or due date.
- Once you are within the checklist, scroll down through the list of tasks
3. Complete a Task
- Tick the checkbox to the left of the task to mark it complete.
- If there are subtasks listed, you can either tick each subtask checkbox or just tick the parent task checkbox to complete all.
⚠️ Please Note: Tasks linked to an NFC tag show the NFC icon on the right. If you complete the task without scanning, the icon will turn red to indicate the scan was missed.
- Once a task has been marked complete it will log a user, time and date stamp.
- You do not have to complete the checklist all in one go, you can tick off the items you have completed and pick back up where you left off at a later time.
- The progression bar on the checklist list view will display how many tasks have been completed on a checklist and will automatically update as you work through the tasks until the checklist has been completed.

4. Reporting an Issue
- To log an issue on the task, click on the task. Within the task details view, go to "Report an issue" and toggle the slider to the right so that it appears in green.
- Add a note of the issue for reference so that anyone who wishes to review the history has context.
- When you return to the full task list in the checklist, a red warning triangle appears beside the task to show that an issue has been reported.
- The checklist’s progress bar also highlights in red, making it easy for other users to spot which checklists contain issues.
5. Completed Checklists
- Once completed, the checklist will be removed from the "Due Today" or "Overdue" filters.
- If you need to see a completed checklist, you will be able to do so under the "Due Date" filter by selecting "All" or using the search bar function.
