👥 Introducing Secondary Reports To
This new feature allows HR Managers to select a secondary reporting manager for each team member within Alkimii.
Why is this important?
- Split Responsibilities: During busy periods, secondary reporting managers can help share the responsibility of approving leave and managing employee check-ins, making team management smoother.
- Continuity in Management: If the primary reporting manager is unavailable (e.g., sick or on leave), the secondary reporting manager can step in and take over the management duties, ensuring no disruption to schedules or delays in leave approval and check ins.
This feature is now available in the Staff Profile when creating or editing employees records.

🔑 New Permission: Edit Shifts Without Removing Daily Sign-Off
We’ve introduced a new permission that allows designated users to make changes to shifts without needing to un-sign the day. This feature is designed to give greater flexibility and efficiency for managers who may need to make quick adjustments to shifts without disrupting the sign-off process.

This feature allows Reporting and Additional Reporting Managers to receive notifications about probation periods and new starters directly within their app settings.
This helps managers stay up to date with their team, allowing them to conduct effective training, plan check ins, and complete performance reviews on time—without HR needing to inform them. The system will take care of sending reminders, keeping the process smooth and efficient.
