Staff Profile: Leave
This article will help you to navigate the Leave section of the Staff Profile where you can manage long term leave and review absences.
This article gives you a quick overview of the Leave section in Alkimii, what you can see, what each part means and where to go to complete specific tasks.
🔒 Access: You will only be able to see this section if you have permission to view Staff Profile Details in Alkimii People.
Getting There
- Navigate to the Staff Profile using the Menu and locate the employee from the list.
- In the left navigation bar, click "Holiday" to expand the section.
- Select "Leave".
What You'll See
The Leave screen is divided into two sections:
Rostered: This displays everything that has been formally recorded against the employee's roster. This includes:
- Long-term leave such as maternity leave, paternity leave, career break, jury duty or long-term sick leave.
- Any shifts where the employee was unexpectedly absent
The table shows: Period, Return to Work Completed (UK and Northern Ireland only), Created by and Created at.
Requested: This displays all leave requests submitted by the employee. This includes:

Holidays

Bank holidays
-
Time in lieu (TOIL)

Requested days off.
The table shows: Request, Requested at and Status.
What the Buttons Do
At the top right of the screen, you will see two buttons:
Review absence
This button displays a red badge showing the number of shifts currently awaiting review. Use this when an employee has been absent from a rostered shift and you need to formally record the reason. 👉 Reviewing Absence for an Employee
+ Roster leave
