Getting Started with Alkimii People

Welcome Aboard - We're here to help you get set up! 💪

This article will help you get started on your Alkimii journey. We'll take you through your intial set up, basic navigation to get you more comfortable with the system, so you can get the most use out of Alkimii - by the end of this article you should be ready to revolutionise your operations!

Part 1: Inital Onboarding 

1. Accept the invite email from Implementation/ Alkimii System 

❗️Note: The invite email comes from a updates@alkimii.com email address, so you'll want to check your junk mail just in case. The email used will be the email provide to either the implementation team or added by the HR Team within your site. 

 🔥 Top Tip : Don't be afraid to speed up the videos and watch them on x1.25 - 1.5 speed or expand the video to full screen using the icon in the bottom right for a closer look .

Utilise this handy cheat sheet to quickly identify which pages within our system contain the specific information or features you're looking for. It'll help streamline your navigation and improves efficiency by linking search terms to their corresponding pages.

 

Part 3: It's all about the Process 

A system is effective only when the management team is fully on board, which is why your support is crucial to the success of Alkimii’s shared responsibility model. We suggest that the senior team establish a clear deadline for each key stage in the process to ensure everything stays on track for payday.

• Clearly define roles and responsibilities to ensure accountability. If everyone is responsible, no one is truly responsible. Make it clear how each team member contributes to the overall solution, so they understand their part in achieving success.
• When Heads of Department (HODs) take annual leave, it's important to nominate a second-in-command to cover their duties. This ensures continuity and smooth operations in their absence.

Step 4: Preparing for Payroll Day

 

💡Tip 1: Verify that your sign-off monitor shows a green tick, indicating that all department heads have reviewed and approved their teams' shifts for the payroll week.

💡Tip 2: Review any variances on the "Week Costs" screen to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.

💡Tip 3: Always download the timesheet audit preview to catch any issues before finalising your payrool.
