How to Cross Roster an Employee?
This article will show you how to cross-roster an employee across departments or sites in your organisation.
Cross-rostering allows employees from one site/department to be rostered into another. Costs are accrued in the rostered site/department, but the employee will be paid from their home hotel. Cross-rostered shifts are visible on the Week Roster screen.
To enable cross-rostering for an employee, contact hello@alkimii.com
- Navigate to the Week Roster using the mega menu
- In your roster screen, in the "All" department, scroll down to the very end.
- You will see at the bottom of the department roster "Roster another User".
- Click on the day you wish to roster the shift in
- Click on the day you wish to roster the shift in
- Search for their name under Staff Member
- Set the Rostered Department
- Use the dropdown to select the shift type
- The date pulls automatically from the day selected above
- Use the dropdown menus to select the shift start and end times
- Add any notes to the shift
- Click Save Shift
