Discover the Versatile Avenues for Creating Events with Ease

In today's fast-paced world, online platforms have become indispensable tools for managing events, whether they're small gatherings or large-scale conferences. However, the process of creating events can vary depending on the platform's design and features. In this article, we'll take you on a journey through Alkimii, showcasing not one, not two, but three distinct paths to event creation. Each route offers unique advantages, ensuring that you have the flexibility to plan and manage your events in the way that best suits your needs.

  1. Availability Calendar

1. Create an Event through Availability

  • Using the mega menu, search for the Availabilities 

  • Your default view will be today 
  • In this view, you will see all locations associated with events in your site
  • Using the calendar to the left, select the date you wish to create the event. 

  • To create an event, ensure you are selecting the correct location from the list
  • You can select a time range within your availability calendar by clicking and dragging across to the end time. 

If the location you need IS NOT listed, you will need to create a NEW location. For help on this, please click HERE

 

2. Create an Event through the Calendar

  • Using the Mega Menu, search for Events Calendar 

  • Once you are in the Calendar view, you will see any Existing Events.
  • Click on any day to create an event or click "Add Event" in the top right corner

3. Creating an Event through Contacts

  • Using the Mega Menu, search for Event Contacts 

  • If you wish to create an event for a contact, click on the eye.

  • On the right-hand corner of this page, you will see "Event". 
  • You will be able to add an Event for this Contact here.
