This article will explain the effects of re-opening the payroll week and editing a Public Holiday shift if you pay your employee based on matched hours.
- If you have run the auto roster tool for the Public Holiday, it will automatically assign a shift to your employees who have accrued an entitlement.
- If you need to edit the shifts that have been set for the Public Holiday after the week has passed, you will first need to reopen the payroll week
- Once the payroll week has been reopened you can go ahead and make the edits to the shifts as needed
- Save the shift within the week roster view
- Close out the payroll
Please note that if you extend out a shift that was worked on the day, you will also need to manually extend out the auto-rostered Public Holiday shift if you pay based on matched hours.
