Quick and effective communication is key to staying ahead. Our mobile app's Polls feature empowers you to create and manage polls directly within group chats, enabling you to gather valuable insights and facilitate team collaboration on the go. This article will walk you through the steps to create, customise, and manage polls and responses in group chats using the mobile app, ensuring that your team's voices are heard and decisions are made swiftly and efficiently.

Create a Poll within a Group Chat

Open the group chat within your Alkimii App Within the text box, to the right select the paper clip icon.  Options will appear in a list, select Polls.

A pop-up will appear prompting you to build out your poll You can add a question, followed by poll options for your team members to choose from.  You can rearrange these options as you would like them to appear.  The settings area will allow you to customise your poll further by ticking the checkbox to set the voting to anonymous or leaving it to untick for public polls which will register the voter's details.  If the poll will require multiple votes,  enable this by ticking the checkbox  Click "Create Poll" to send it in the group chat.

Reviewing Repsonses 

• As your team members vote on the poll, you will see their profile picture appear if the poll responses have been left as public. If the poll was set as anonymous the number of votes will populate against each option. 
• To view a full breakdown of votes, click on "view votes". This view will only be visible to the poll creator. Other team members will not have access to view these votes on mobile.
