Streamlining Task Review, Communication, and Resolution for Proactive and Reactive Maintenance

Effective task management is a cornerstone of maintaining a smooth operating environment, and within Alkimiis Maintenance Feature, you have the tools to do just that. Whether it's reviewing issue details, facilitating communication through comments, or marking issues as complete once they've been resolved, this feature empowers you to streamline your maintenance processes. Let's take a look at the ins and outs of efficient issue review, clear communication, and timely issue resolution, ensuring that your maintenance operations run seamlessly.

Glossary 
Reactive Maintenance  Real-time maintenance tasks logging via phones ad hoc
Proactive Maintenance   Completing scheduled location reviews to stay ahead of potential maintenance tasks

  • Using the mega menu, navigate to Maintenance 

  • Along the top, select Maintenance Task
  • Here you will see a list of all maintenance tasks for your site. On this screen, you will be able to filter, review, assign and action these issues and add new maintenance tasks, if applicable.

  • If you would like to review the number of tasks added through scheduled proactive maintenance review versus reactive maintenance which is added ad hoc, you can filter by the "Task Type".

  • Along the top in a blue box, you can see a breakdown of your site maintenance tasks to date

  • To view a task, click on the title or select the eye icon under the actions column

  • The pop-up will allow you to review the issue details, and assign additional employees if applicable. You can also update the description, assign a category if not already set and comment on the issue.

  • Click on the paper clip icon, to attach any documents or imagery to the issue. The bin icon is to delete the issue if it was created in error

  • You can also add images to your comments and mention a colleague so they are notified and can take the appropriate actions

  • Once the issue has been resolved you can click on "Complete Issue" in the top left corner of the modal. 

Please be advised that since the maintenance feature is now available on the mobile app, for convenience and proactive maintenance we would recommend completing the location reviews via the mobile app. For more information, click the quick links below!
