Maintenance Task Management on the Desktop

Efficient task management is essential for smooth operations, and Alkimii’s Maintenance feature equips you with the right tools. You can quickly review issue details, communicate through comments, and mark tasks as complete, making it easy to keep maintenance workflows on track. Here’s how to review, communicate, and resolve issues effectively for seamless maintenance management.

• Using the mega menu, navigate to Maintenance 
• Along the top, select Maintenance Task
• Here you will see a list of all maintenance tasks for your site. On this screen, you will be able to filter, review, assign and action these issues and add new maintenance tasks, if applicable. 

• If you would like to review the number of tasks added through scheduled proactive maintenance review versus reactive maintenance which is added ad hoc, you can filter by the "Task Type". 

• Along the top in a blue box, you can see a breakdown of your site maintenance tasks to date 

• To view a task, click on the title or select the eye icon under the actions column

• The pop-up will allow you to review the issue details, and assign additional employees if applicable. You can also update the description, assign a category if not already set and comment on the issue. 
• Click on the paper clip icon, to attach any documents or imagery to the issue. The bin icon is to delete the issue if it was created in error
• You can also add images to your comments and mention a colleague so they are notified and can take the appropriate actions
• When work begins on the issue, update the status to “Doing”. Once it’s fully resolved, select “Done” from the top-left corner of the modal to complete the task.
