How to clock in on the iPad Clock?
- Click Start and the iPad will prompt you to "Frame your face" within the circle on the screen, position yourself so that your face is within the frame.
If this is your first time using the clock, you will be provided with a tutorial on how to clock in on the app - you can skip this if it is not relevant to you.
- Once happy, please select "Take a Photo"
- Our liveness detector will request that you move your head to the left or right
- If the clock-in was successful, you will see the screen notifying you that you have now clocked in. It will also provide you with the options to "Start Break" or "Clock Out" if necessary.
- To begin your break, simply click on "Start Break", and it will prompt you to frame your face. Similarly to "End Break", please select this option, frame your face and click "Take a photo"
- To clock out, you will need to repeat the clock-in process, but you will be directed to a page where you will be asked what you want to do. Click " Clock Out at XX:XX".
🚨IMPORTANT NOTE : It’s essential that you clock in as soon as you start your shift — not just for attendance tracking, but more importantly, to make sure your name appears on the emergency evacuation list.
In the event of an emergency, this list is what emergency responders and management rely on to account for everyone’s safety. If you haven’t clocked in, we may not know you’re in the building, which puts both you and others at risk during an evacuation.
