Invite/Reinvite Employees to the Alkimii Mobile App

This article will show you how to invite both new and current employees to Alkimii using the MyAlkimii Invitations section

 

Getting started

  • Using the Mega Menu, navigate to Staff Profiles.
  • Along the top of the page, select MyAlkimii Invitations.
  • You will see a list of employees set up in Alkimii. Use the filter at the top to view All, Pending, or Invited team members.

💡 Top tip: Set the status filter to All to make sure every employee is visible — not just those who have already been invited.
  • To find a specific employee, use the search bar in the top right of your screen.
  • Before sending an invitation, make sure the employee has a valid email address saved in their profile. Without this, the invitation cannot be sent successfully.

Sending an invitation

On the right-hand side of the list, you will see an Actions column. What you see here depends on the employee's current status:

  • New employee — the action will show as Invite
  • Existing employee — the action will show as Reinvite

You would use Reinvite if an employee has updated their phone number or email address, or simply needs the invitation sent again.

⚠️ Important — reinviting an employee whose email address has changed

Before clicking Reinvite, you must update the employee's Alkimii login email in their profile first. Please note this is not the same as their personal email address field.

To update it:

  1. Open the employee's Staff Profile
  2. Go to Personal Details > Alkimii Login
  3. Update the email address here — note this section is password-protected
  4. Once updated, return to MyAlkimii Invitations and click Reinvite

If you send the reinvitation without updating this first, the invitation will go to the old email address and the employee will not receive it.

💡 Inviting multiple employees? Use the Pending filter to show only employees who have not yet been invited. This makes it quicker to work through your list.

  1. Click Invite or Reinvite next to the employee's name.
  2. A pop-up confirmation will appear on screen to let you know the invitation has been sent.

What the employee will receive

  • They will receive an email prompting them to download the MyAlkimii app.
  • If a mobile number is saved in their profile, they will also receive a text message with a link to download the app.
