Enhancing Safety with Alkimii's Evacuation List Feature: Syncing Clock-Ins and Visitor Logs for Comprehensive On-Premises Emergency Preparedness

Ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and patrons on your premises is an absolute priority and being prepared for emergencies is non-negotiable. Alkimii's Evac List feature is an invaluable tool that synchronises with clock-ins and visitor logs recorded through Alkimii on any given day, providing you with a comprehensive list of individuals present on your premises.

🚨IMPORTANT NOTE: It’s essential that you clock in as soon as you start your shift — not just for attendance tracking, but more importantly, to make sure your name appears on the emergency evacuation list.

In the event of an emergency, this list is what emergency responders and management rely on to account for everyone’s safety. If you haven’t clocked in, your team may not know you’re in the building, which puts both you and others at risk during an evacuation.

You will only be able to start an evacuation while you are rostered and clocked in. If you need to be able to start an evacuation when you have not been rostered then you will need this access level enabled within your staff profile.

  • Navigate to Evac List using the menu
  • This list will provide you with a breakdown of all employees who have clocked in and are on site along with any visitors who have been logged.

It is vital that your employees clock in for their shift once they are on the premises to ensure they are accounted for on the evac list should an emergency arise.

  • If an employee clocked a break via the mobile app, you will now see this appear on the Evac List for reference.

To Start an Evacuation

  • Select "Start Evacuation" in the top right.

If you have the Alkimii mobile app, you will receive a notification on your mobile to "Please calmly proceed to your nearest evacuation point immediately"

  • You will be able to mark off the individuals using the checkbox beside their name.
  • Multiple users can complete the evacuation list at once. This can be especially useful for sites with multiple fire wardens.
  • Once you have completed the list, select "End Evacuation" in the top right.

To Print an Evacuation List

  • To print this list, select Print in the top right
  • Select the printer from the "Destination" dropdown list
  • Click Print in the bottom right

How to view the history log?

Adding Evac List to your Home Page & Favourites

  • You can also add the "Evac List"  widget to your home screen for quicker access. This widget displays the total number of people currently on the premises, which is also broken down into "On Duty", "Visitors" and "Unlinked Punches"

  • Alternatively, you can add Evac List to your favourites bar, again for quick access

Any Shift with a Clock Out - including Clock to Shift - will not show on the Evac List
