The Alkimii phone app not only allows team members to clock in/out but also allows them to clock breaks. Employees working On or Off-site can avail of this.
To avail of Contactless Clock in/out, you must submit a profile picture of yourself to HR. Once this profile picture has been approved, you can start using the app.
Quick Checks before clocking in!
1) Make sure your Camera, Gallery and Location permissions are turned on to "Always Allow" or "While using the App".
2) If you have access to multiple sites, make sure you are within the correct site.
3) You have a good wifi connection- Launch the Alkimii App on your mobile.
- Select "Clock In" from the favourite tools on the home page.

- Your Clock Status will be shown at the top of the screen
- Take a selfie using the blue button at the bottom of the screen to Clock In
- Repeat the same process to "Start Break", "Finish Break" and "Clock Out"
- The app will match your selfie to your profile picture using facial recognition.
- If successful, you will be advised your clock was successful.
Received an error message?
- Profile picture does not match the person who clocked in
- You are outside of the approved location parameters for clocking in
- You do not have an approved profile picture set up in Alkimii
- If the issue is profile picture-related, you will be invited to upload a new profile picture to resolve the issue. This will be sent to a member of HR for approval.
