Updating the Alkimii App on Mobile

This article will summarise how to update your Alkimii app on Android and iOS devices.

Keep your app updated to access the latest features, improvements, and security updates. Follow the steps below to update the app on Android or iOS.

📱 Before you begin — check your device is compatible: This app requires a minimum operating system (OS) to run and update correctly:

  • Android: Version 6 or above
  • iOS (iPhone/iPad): Version 16.6 or later

Not sure which version you have? Check your phone's Settings before following the steps below. If your device does not meet these requirements, the update may not be available to you. Please speak to your manager for further support.

Click on your device type to proceed to the relevant section 

If you have the app set to automatically update, you will receive a notification within the mobile app to prompt you to Update. 

Updating with Google Play Store 

  • Navigate to the Google Play Store. 
  • Search for Alkimii in the search bar and click on the option from the list. 
  • Click on "Update" to begin the update process. 
  • Once the update has been completed, click Open. You will be redirected to the Alkimii App. 

     

     

    Updating with the Apple App Store 

    When you receive the notification to update the Alkimii App

    • Navigate to your Apple App Store
    • Search for Alkimii in the search bar and click on the option from the list. 
    • Click on Update or the cloud icon to begin the Update process
    • Once the update has been completed, click Open. You will be redirected to the Alkimii App.

        We would advise setting the app to auto-download any new updates. 

        • To set auto-updates, navigate to your mobile Settings 
          • App Store
          • Scroll down to "Automatic Updates" 
          • Swipe to turn this option on
