In the intricate landscape of employee leave management, understanding the functionality of the 'Reports To' field is a pivotal aspect of ensuring a streamlined and efficient process. Alkimii provides a sophisticated feature that directs annual leave requests and assigns check ins to an employee's designated line manager, offering clarity and accountability in the approval workflow.
  • Navigate to the Staff Profile within the Mega Menu

  • Select the employee from the Staff List that you wish to update 

  • On the left-hand panel within the profile, click on "Employment Details" 

Employment Details

  • Scroll down to "Reports To" 
  • Use the dropdown menu to select the "Reports To" contact, if this has not already been set or if you need to update the existing contact. 

Please be advised that a "Reports To" contact is leaving, any employee assigned to them will need to be reallocated to another contact before this profile can be leavered. 

  • To enable this "Reports To" contact,click "Save" in the bottom right corner

Only future requests will be directed to the new Reports To
