How to record a Disciplinary within Alkimii?

Maintaining a fair and accountable workplace necessitates effective documentation and management of disciplinary actions. This guide is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools to adeptly record disciplinary incidents using Alkimii. Let's delve into the steps involved in documenting and managing disciplinary actions with precision, promoting transparency, fairness, and a culture of accountability within your organization.

  • Using the mega menu, navigate to "Staff Profiles"

  • Locate the profile for the employee you wish to document the appeal for. 
  • Within the staff profile along the left, select "Disciplinaries"
  • This view will allow you to see a list of all disciplines. To create a new line item, click "Add Disciplinary" at the top of this tab.

  • This will direct you to a pop-up where you can enter all relevant information relating to the disciplinary record. 
  • Select your Offence Type from the options available 
  • Use the calendar function to select the date of the occurrence
  • The site will auto-populate based on your profile, you can update this based on the sites you have access to. 
  • The status defaults to "Active", however, if you would like this to expire, you can change the status manually. 
  • Add the Disciplinary Officers
  • Add Staff Witnesses 
  • Select the Disciplinary Outcome 
  • Use the calendar function to select the "Date of the Outcome". This date will appear under the "Expiries At" column within the disciplinary list view.  
  • You can add an attachment, such as any documents, CCTV footage, imagery etc
  • Once all information is logged, click “Confirm”

  • This disciplinary record will now appear in the employee's profile under the "Disciplinary" tab.

  • The Pencil Icon will allow you to edit a disciplinary should any further information come to light. The bin icon will allow you to delete the entry if it was created by mistake. 
  • If the employee wishes to log an appeal, this can be added by clicking on this triangle icon to begin the appeal process.
