Quickly Track and Retrieve Lost Items to Enhance Customer Satisfaction on the go.

Keeping track of lost and found items can be a daunting task, but Alkimii's lost & found on mobile is here to simplify the process. This feature allows you to efficiently log any items handed in while you're on the go, ensuring that when a guest comes forward, you can quickly and easily check if their lost item has been found. In this article, we'll show you how to use this feature to enhance your customer service, making it easier to manage lost items and improve guest satisfaction.

  • Launch the Alkimii App
  • If you have already set up your favourite tools, you can select "Lost & Found" from your favourites.
For help adding or editing your favourite tools, click here
  • Alternatively, navigate to "More" on the bottom right of the navigation bar. From your Alkimii tools, click "Lost & Found"

How to add a lost & found item? 

  • Click "Add an item" at the bottom of the screen. 
  • A pop up will prompt you to enter details fo the item that has been flagged as lost or handed in as found. 
  • Add an attachment - such as image of the item. 
  • Enter a title for the item. 
  • The site will autopopulate to the current site, you can amend this using the dropdown menu. 
  • Using the dropdown menu to select the location within the site where the item was lost or found. 
  • Select the status from the options - this will either be "Lost" and "Found" 
  • You can add any additional notes for reference 
  • Click "Save" to log the item. This will now be visible on both desktop and mobile Lost & Found.

How do you update the status of an item logged? 

  • Locate the lost and found item from the list using the filter options or search bar and click on it
  • If a lost item has been handed into the site, you can update the status to "Found" by clicking on the status option. The date will auto-populate to the current date. 
  • If the item has been returned to the owner, you can select "Returned" by clicking on the status option. The date will auto-populate to the current date
