Set a Leaver/Undo a Leaver in Alkimii

In the profile card of the staff profile you can easily manage leavers and update employment details to ensure your records are up-to-date and accurate.

Setting an Employee as a Leaver 

  • Click on the 3 vertical dots on the top right of the profile card. 
  • From the dropdown menu, select "Set as a Leaver" 
  • The pop up will prompt you to enter the leaver details.
  • The End date will reflect the actual end date for the team member and is usally set within the payroll period. 
  • You will have to select a leaver reason from the dropdown menu. This dropdown will only appear when an end date has been set. This is a mandatory field.

  • If this team member has other team members reporting into them, you will need reassign these to another manager. 
  • If their depature was planned, you can tick the checkbox in the bottom left. However, if this was unexpected you can leave this checkbox unticked. 

You will have to sign off all days up to the leaver date to be able to set this team member as a leaver. 

 

Undo a Leaver

Undoing a Leaver is access dependent, so please contact our customer success team if you are having any issues completing this process. 

  • From the staff profile list, use the "leavered" filter to help you quickly locate the team members old profile. 
  • Click the 3 vertical dots in the top right of the profile card. 
  • From the dropdown menu, select "undo leaver". A pop up will ask you to confirm that you are happy to undo this leaver.

  • This profile will now be restored and ready for you to action accordingly. 

Undoing a leaver can only be completed within 1 week of setting them as a leaver within an open payroll week.
