How to Manage Multiple Alkimii Profiles and Switch Sites

This article explains how to manage multiple Alkimii profiles and access different properties/sites when a user needs to work across more than one site. 

How multi‑site access works

Alkimii supports multi-logins so a single user can have access to more than one property. A user will be able to switch properties when they have been granted access to those properties.

📌 Important: To ensure multi-site access works correctly, you must be added as a staff member in each property using the same email address in your staff profile.


How to set up a second site/profile

  1. Create the user profile in the additional site as you would normally.
  2. During setup the system should prompt the user to reconfirm their email address.
  3. Reconfirming the email during that prompt links the accounts, enabling the user to access both properties with the same login and switch between them.

📌 Once your multiple Alkimii profiles are set up on desktop, you will also be able to switch properties within the mobile app.


Access requirements

Users must have a profile set up in each site they need to access. Access to both sites will only be available if a profile has been created and the user has been invited to the app.


Switching Sites — Mobile App

  1. Launch the Alkimii App on your mobile device.
  2. Log in as normal, entering your email address and password. If this is your first time using multi-site access on the app, you will be asked to read through the Terms & Conditions.
  3. Your default view will be the home page. To access all properties associated with your email, tap the Site Name bubble at the top of your screen.
  4. A pop-up menu will appear at the bottom of your screen, listing all properties associated with your email address.
  5. Tap the name of the property you wish to access, scroll down in the pop-up menu, and tap "Apply".
  6. You will be redirected to the selected property, with access to its chat groups and newsfeed.

To switch to another property, repeat the steps above — tap the Site Name bubble at the top of your screen and select the property you wish to enter.


Updating Your Email Address

The email address must match across all your Alkimii profiles for multi-site access to work correctly.

  1. From the home page, tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
  2. Select "Alkimii Login" from the list.
  3. Here you can update the email address used to connect all your Alkimii profiles.

To change your email:

  • Enter your new email address
  • Repeat the new email address to confirm
  • Enter your current password
  • Tap "Update Email" to save the changes

⚠️ The updated email address must match the staff profile email in every site you need access to. If they do not match, you will lose access to your other sites.


Troubleshooting and next steps

  • If the setup process does not prompt to reconfirm the email and the accounts are not linked, the user will not be able to access the additional property.
  • If linking does not occur or a user cannot switch between properties after setup, contact Alkimii support for further assistance.
