How to create a check in template?

Templates can be pre-configured and applied to save you time and ensure consistency in your Check In.

  • Using the mega menu, navigate to the "App Settings" 
  • From the list of on the left-hand side, scroll down to "People" and select "Check Ins"
  • From the dropdown, select "Templates" 
  • Here, you will be able to see a full list of all Check In Templates available in your organisation. 

⚠️ Please Note: Templates are created at an organisational level. 

  • To create a new template, click "Add New Template" on the right
  • You will be prompted to add a title for your template and click Save to begin building your template out. 
  • You will be redirected to the building page where you will be able to add questions, goals and core competencies for your template.

  • Each section will allow you to add a description paragraph at the begining to help provide further clarification on its purpose. 

Questions and Answer Options 

  • Reponse types include Text; Number and Rating 
  • You can opt to lock a question which means no one else can edit or delete this question from the template. To enable this, tick the "Locked" checkbox. 

Goals

  • This will be marked as achieved or not achieved so keep this in mind when wording them.

Core Competencies 

  • All core competencies have been preconfigured in the App Settings. You can find out more information here
  • These can be selected from the dropdown menu. This is a multi select option
  • There is no limit to the number you can add. 
  • Once satisfied, click Save in the top right corner. 
  • This template will now be available for selection when you are scheduling your Check In.
