How to check unclocked shifts?

This article will show you how to handle the different scenarios that may arise with unclocked shifts.

Navigate to Today's Roster using the menu search bar.

From the headers along the top, click on the "Not Clocked" filter checkbox. This will show rostered shifts in grey and working shifts in blue

Actioning a Working Shift (Shown in Blue)

If a shift is showing in blue, this means the employee is logged as working. If the employee has already left for the day, you will need to action the shift.

If an unlinked clock-out punch is available for this employee, select it from the dropdown to link it.

If no punch is available:

  1. Click Edit Clock.
  2. Uncheck Disable.
  3. Select the end date and time using the dropdown pickers.
  4. Click Save to update the employee's clocks.

Managing Absences

If an employee cannot attend work, you can adjust their shift:

  1. Double-click into the shift.
  2. Set the Shift Type to Absent.
  3. Set the Absent Code.
  4. Add a note to the shift, if applicable.

Editing a Clock Manually

If a staff member forgot to clock in or out, you can edit their clock manually:

  1. Click Edit Clock Shift.
  2. Uncheck Disable to enter the Clock Out Time.
  3. Use the dropdown pickers to select the start and end times of the shift.
  4. Add a note to the clock.
  5. Click Save.

Viewing Clock History

To view the history of clocks for a shift:

  1. Click on the shift bubble.
  2. A menu will appear. Click View All.
  3. This will display the full clock history for that shift.
