How to add a Special Event?

The Special Events tab in Alkimii is your go-to space for keeping track of what’s happening in and around your site. Whether it's a local conference, a major sporting event, a music festival, or even seasonal celebrations, this handy tool helps you capture those key dates in one central place.

By having upcoming events clearly laid out in your calendar, you and your team can get a quick snapshot of what’s on the horizon—making it easier to plan staffing, adjust operations, and manage guest expectations. It's all about staying one step ahead and ensuring your property runs smoothly, no matter what's going on around you.


Navigate to Special Events using the menu search bar. Your default view will be the current month. 


How to add a Special Event? 

  • In the top right, click "Add Special Event".A pop up will prompt you to enter the details
  • Add the title, start, end date and time. 
  • Select the kind of Special Event. 
  • Add a Note, if applicable. 
  • Click Save. 
  • Your special event is now logged in the calendar.

 

Where the Special Events can be seen? 

  • Your Special Event will be displayed on the Events calendar. The star indicates a Special Event. 
  • If you hover over the Star, your Special Event title will appear.
  • Click on it and it will bring you to the Special Event date.
