Evac (Evacuation) List on Mobile

Welcome to our step-by-step guide on how to effectively use the mobile evacuation list feature within our app. This powerful tool is designed to streamline the process of managing emergency evacuations, ensuring quick and coordinated actions in critical situations. Whether you're a first-time user or looking to refresh your skills, this article will walk you through how to start, monitor, and end an evacuation, all from your mobile device. Our aim is to empower you and your team to act swiftly and safely, keeping everyone informed and secure during an emergency.

  • Launch the Alkimii App
  • If you have already set up your favourite tools, you can select "Evac List" from your favourites. 

For help adding or editing your favourite tools, click here

  • Alternatively, navigate to "More" on the bottom right of the navigation bar. From your Alkimii tools, click "Evac List" 
  • Within the "Evac List" you will be able to see all individuals on site, this includes employees who have clocked in, visitors, clock punches not linked to shifts and those on break. 

To Start an Evacuation 

  • Tap the "Start Evacuation" button at the top of the screen

  • Users will receive an alert notification to "Please calmly proceed to your nearest evacuation point immediately"

  • Tick off each individual as you work down through the list. Individuals will be segmented by their departments and any clocked punches not linked to shifts. 
  • Multiple users can complete the evacuation list at one time, this can be useful if there are multiple Fire Wardens on site. 

To End an Evacuation

  • Once the evacuation has been completed and you are happy that all individuals are accounted for, click "End Evacuation" at the top of the screen 
  • This will reset the Evac List so that it is ready for the next instance.
