A Comprehensive Guide to Efficiently Managing Deliveries and Packages on the go with the Alkimii Mobile App.

Managing packages and deliveries for your guests can be a challenging task, but Alkimii's concierge feature on mobile is here to simplify the process. This feature allows you to efficiently add and manage packages and deliveries while you're on the go, ensuring that when a guest inquires about their items, you can quickly and easily check the status. In this article, we'll show you how to use this feature to enhance your customer service, making it easier to handle guest deliveries and improve overall guest satisfaction.

  • Launch the Alkimii App
  • If you have already set up your favourite tools, you can select "Concierge" from your favourites.
For help adding or editing your favourite tools, click here
  • Alternatively, navigate to "More" on the bottom right of the navigation bar. From your Alkimii tools, click "Concierge"

How to add a Package? 

  • Click "Add a Package" at the bottom of the screen. 
  • Take a Photo - such as image of the reciept or item. 
  • Select the status from the options - this will either be "Awaiting Arrival" and "With Concierge" and "Delivered to Guest" 
  • Enter the name of the Guest
  • Select site where this guest is staying.  
  • Set the expected arrival date or actual arrival date using the calendar function. 

 

  • Select the type of package from the options. 
  • You can flesh out the package information including the courier information and tracking information as the status of the package changes. 
  • You can add any additional notes for reference 
  • Click "Submit this package" to log the item. This will now be visible on both desktop and mobile Concierge.

 

How do you update the status of a package? 

  • Locate the package from the list using the filter options or search bar and click on it.
  • To add any additional information to the entry, click on the pencil icon. This might include the tracking URL or courier information. 
  • If a guest flagged a package that was due to be delivered which you have now received, you can update the status from "Awaiting arrival" to "With Concierge" by clicking on the status option. 
  • If a package was received by the concierge and has since been collected by the guest, you can update the status from "With Concierge" to "Delivered to Guest" by clicking on the status option. 
  • All updates made will be logged with a time and date stamp along with the team members name and profile picture. To access this history log, click on the clock icon in the top right.
